Her eyes caught the sight of the bright red feather it looked so soft. Her expression turned to one of awe.
“My quirks dangerous too.” He stated like a fact.
Her eyes quirked up in confusion how can a feather be dangerous?
He smiled softly before in a flash the unassuming feather turned sharp as a knife startling her.
“Doesn’t seem like it at first, huh?” He said a tad amused at her reaction.
“When I was your age I didn’t have great control of my quirk either”

Hawks sees a child that reminds him far too much of himself. He decides to be the hero he needed.

For the next few years, Peter became his dad’s shadow.
They spent everyday together, tinkering in the lab, laughing through disastrous attempts at cooking that left the kitchen in chaos, or curling up for movie nights that inevitably ended with Peter falling asleep halfway through.
It only got better when his dad helped form the Avengers. They had all moved into Avengers Tower in New York, and while it was quite different from his life in Malibu, Peter didn’t mind. He loved it.
He’d have breakfast early with Nat, Bucky and Steve. He’d get spy lessons from Clint (which mostly involved crawling around in the vent and shooting people with nerf guns). And he’d even sometimes get science lessons from Dr Bruce Banner himself.
Life was great. Perfect even.
Until Harley showed up.

It’s akin to being in your mother’s arms, drinking hot chocolate on a winter night, or sleeping under the covers when it’s raining.
Exceptionally delightful. Especially after you’d just used your own body to seal a certain guy with four arms away. As unpleasant as that was, at least he had fun.
So what now? Should he keep drifting in this pleasant space forever, relish in this newfound peace and ignore that unmarred white door in the middle of nowhere?

Lucius Malfoy’s punishment for almost ripping apart Voldemort’s plans are to watch his own plans be ripped to shreds. Draco Malfoy doesn’t even get a funeral. Not like he needed one anyway, after he ends up crawling out of his own shallow grave to find himself extremely hungry.
No one is telling Harry the truth about anything. They refuse to explain why he was so important and why his mind seems to be connected to Voldemort’s. Or why he had a nightmare in which Fenrir Greyback tore Draco Malfoy apart, only for the boy to appear later.
Perhaps Remus, Sirius, Nymphadora and Severus can help the two boys realise what the fuck is actually going on.
