Nox didn't have to be told twice, he tightened his grip around Chase's back and snuggled his head into a warm chest once again. Chase moved one hand to play with dark strands of soft hair, and that made Nox sigh again in approval.
The heartbeat and breathing evened out again, now harmonizing with soft movements of fingers down his scalp. He lay there timing each sound and feeling, anticipating the next, until his mind was muddled and all he could think was warmth.
OR: Chase's gaming interrupts Nox's nap time.

Summary
Violet and Nox are discovered by a staff member at Sugar Springs library, and put up for sale at Facebook marketplace. Chase finds them (thanks to Prunella's online presence) and brings them 'home'. He soon learns that it takes more than just a rescue and empty promises for a place to truly feel like home.

Summary
Nox has to cast a spell on Chase in the newest book. Unfortunately, the system of magic is rather underdeveloped, and there's no way to make sure he has the right spell.
It should be fine, right? He can make it work.
And he can certainly handle the backlash if it goes wrong.Or: Nox messes up the spell he casts on Chase, and it splits him into his different emotions. Chaos and shenanigans ensue.
