Someone cares enough to pay for him to be here. He doesn't know who, but that's okay.
He licks the last of the slop off his hand, the sharp pain in his stomach dimming a bit. The bell is cold against his back, but it's shelter from the sharp winds at the top of the school.
None of the other kids can get up here. Lloyd is small enough to fit out the window in the room below the bell tower; none of them are. They would need a key to get up. He's safe here.

Summary
Morro hated a lot of things.
He hated the Green Ninja. He hated Wu. He hated that his planned failed, but most of all, he hated anything he couldn't understand.
And he couldn't understand, for the life of him, why the ninja decided to give him a second chance.
(Or why he decided to take it.)

However, earlier in the day a mysterious machine had dropped from a portal in the sky, landing near the monastery. The only occupant: a guy wearing a green gi.
Or, what if Lloyd traveled back in time and had to, desperately, try keep the timeline on track while he is literally wearing the green ninja gi?
