Summary
Deku has never been close with members of the Bakusquad, despite the squad’s best efforts. They were getting there as Bakugou and Deku’s friendship grew… but that friendship has been over for years. Mina wants to understand why they never got to be as close as she knew they could have been, so she asks. But, since she wants her friends to know as well she secretly calls Bakugou so he can hear too.
It should have been a secret, but Bakugou has no plans to let Deku continue to believe he thinks so little of him. It's time to tell him how much he truly cares about his lifelong friend.

Izuku ran until he couldn't anymore, falling harshly to the forest floor in a crumpled heap. He'd been running for days, barely resting long enough to eat or drink water out of his supplies. Nowhere was safe from his ex-mate, who had been chasing him for the better part of a week.
He didn't know where he was, not having paid attention to directions or town names as he passed around the outskirts of them. He didn't need anyone seeing him and reporting back to Katsuki.Darkness fell, forcing Izuku to hunker down in a small cave, his nose smelling only old stale scents of various creatures that had passed through.
As he rested, a sharp pang went through his abdomen, his scent taking on a sharp, fear laced tone."Oh no!" He whimpered, hands cradling his swollen stomach. His baby was coming early!

“Nomu, attack Eraserhead.”
Izuku did scream this time, throwing his hand out as if he could stop the creature from hurting his sensei. He gasped as cloud-like fog enveloped the man, hiding his form from the view of the beast as it stopped short. Izuku looked around, eyes searching for the person who could have used their quirk and didn’t find anyone. He jumped as Tsu spoke from beside him. “I thought you were quirkless?” She asked.
He nodded, “I am.” She pointed at the clouds still filling the area, “Apparently not. That’s your quirk.” Izuku froze, looking back at the scene. He gulped as his eyes roamed the dense fog, watching as the beast roared and swung around. He didn’t understand. He had been deemed quirkless when his quirk didn’t show up. They did tests.
