Nobody knows for sure what happened between Hyunjin Hwang of Pluto’s Moons and Chan Bang of Return of Orpheus on that tour more than 10 years ago, except that Chan clearly has never stopped writing about the summer of 2011. And now all of a sudden they're interacting again.

“Yet aren’t we all men?” The young man finishes his drink, wiping his mouth with the back of his hands. His eyes have a dangerous glint on them as they keep seizing him up.
“No,” Hyunjin is quick to deny. “Some are sailors. Some are captains. Some are thieves. Not everyone gets to call himself a man.”
“And which might you be?” The strangers puts his arms on the table, sliding closer to Hyunjin now. His voice drops down to a whisper, and like this it sounds ever so devilish, like the Devil himself is climbing his way out through this frail body, the shadows seem to swallow him and make him look almost predatory.
A young lord. A governor’s heir. My mother’s son. A dreamer. A caged bird. “I don’t make a habit of telling strangers my affairs.”
or;
Hyunjin, the son of a noble, escapes from his home in order to fulfill his dream and promise to his late mother: to draw a map of all the seas. In his haste, however, he lands on the Levanter, the ship for the famous pirate crew the Strays, whose captain, Chan Bang "Silver Eye" he undeniably feels an attraction to, and who deeply intrigues him.
