“One song.” He finally relents and Lucy reaches over to kiss him on the cheek.
“I love you. Even when you are grumpy.” She says. He rolls his eyes but he can’t help but smile a little.
One song turns into two and before he knows it they are listening to the whole damn soundtrack to Tangled. They finally reach the park and he shuts off the truck quickly cutting the music off. Lucy just grins at him and tucks her phone into the backpack.
“I know this isn’t your favorite thing to do. But thank you for doing it for me.” She says as she unbuckles her seatbelt and leans over the console. “I do appreciate everything you do for me Tim.” He knows she’s trying to sweet talk him which usually works but not this time.
