What is the point?
He asks himself, drawing yet another useless array into the pages of a notebook that no one else will ever read. He, once upon a time, disguised his research notes as a travel log. There’s no point to that now. He doesn’t bother. Were someone to come across his research, they wouldn’t understand it anyway. Even if they did, there would be no way to apply it.
He draws arrays pointlessly, knowing that he’ll never be able to use them.
He draws them anyway.
