“You old-timey prick! I’ll show you s-zzz!-zssuffering—!” Vox’s voice glitched and slurred in struggle, and Lucifer immediately knew this was going to end badly for him. He couldn’t see Vox from his screen, but he very much sounded like he was clutching to the last remains of his pride despite the visible decline.
“Uh oh, the TV is buffering!” Lucifer heard and scowled, finding the voice incredibly unbearable and irritating.
Vox would have likely wished for him to look away from an utterly embarrassing loss like this on live television.
Lucifer should listen to that and respectfully look away.
And yet,
Lucifer couldn’t help but watch in silent horror.

Or: Rise!Leo lands in the 2012 universe. He introduces artistic chaos to the strict sewers, tries not to lose his mind and accidentally adopts four seven-year-olds while pretending to be a cool, turtle street guy.

Like being a Hidden City detective. That counts as "leisurely", right? Nevermind the baggage that comes with such a role.

Summary
The Morningstars are drifting apart. Charlie is moving out, Lilith is never home, and the palace has become far too quiet for Lucifer's liking.
Fortunately, VoxTek Enterprises is about to premiere an entire lineup of new shows.
Lucifer Morningstar had never intended to become so invested. He certainly hadn't intended to watch every show Vox hosted, attend his meet-and-greets in disguise, buy his merchandise, memorize his programming schedules, or become one of Vox's most loyal viewers.
But then Vox's mysterious deer-related emotional breakdown enters the picture, and Lucifer decides to do what any reasonable person would do:
Help his idol move on from his ex.
And if, in the process, Vox happens to realize there are far better options available, well... who is Lucifer to stand in the way of fate?
Unfortunately, "reasonable" has never been a word commonly associated with the King of Hell.
Or: Lucifer develops a parasocial relationship with Vox, Vox finds himself in increasingly unfamiliar waters, and Alastor discovers he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
