Summary
Senku wasn’t the type to believe in urban legends. However, after a forum post leads him to investigate a supposedly haunted lake, he comes face to face with a merman named Gen.
Gen tries to scare him off, but the scientist isn’t phased. Wanting to study Gen, Senku strikes a deal with him. In exchange for studying him, Senku would break Gen’s ‘curse’. What Senku hadn’t predicted though, was that he would end up caring about more than just his research…

Gen was an interesting person to be around. And infinitely annoying.
He always wore that same poker face whenever he’d see him. That challenging glint in his eye when he looked at Senku never went unnoticed by him either.
Senku had to hand it to him, the mentalist had a composure of steel.
Which only made him that much more determined to break it. He’s always liked challenges, and Gen was the person who never failed to give him the best.
And it was ten billion percent apparent that Gen was in love with him.

Summary
Popular celebrity magician and college student Asagiri Gen accidentally outs himself on twitter. In order to minimize the damage to his career and take full advantage of the situation, Gen’s manager suggests he get a boyfriend to show off to the public for a while- even if that boyfriend is a fake. When Gen stumbles upon a diligent science nerd who somehow might just be insane enough to agree to a fake relationship, he begins to wonder how the hell he got himself into this mess in the first place, and he wonders even more if he even wants it to end at all.

You’ll use my approach, and we'll see who makes the most money." Gen motions a hand out. “Deal?”
Senkuu smirks. Gen is mostly joking, but it’s too late. Senkuu never turns down an opportunity to learn something new, test a theory, what have you. “I’m gonna kick your ass— get excited.” Senkuu wipes his hand on his apron, before clapping his hand into Gen’s. “You’ve got a deal, psych major.”
