“This is the world I visited before,” Luo Binghe said, half to himself.
“Yes, though I’m not sure how you pulled it off considering we destroyed Xin Mo on our end…” Shen Qingqiu trailed off into mutters, flicking through the book at the top of her stack.
“I seem to remember you both being men the last time I was here,” he said, interrupting her mumbling. Both Shen Qingqiu and the other Luo Binghe froze. His doppelganger’s glare was cold, as if daring him to say more, while Shen Qingqiu turned an enticing shade of pink.
“Ah,” Shen Qingqiu said. “Well. Sometimes these things change.”

Cursed and trapped in another world, Luo Binghe is forced to work with his crybaby doppelganger and the strange, nice shizun to find a cure. He feels entirely normal about this. Certainly spending time with a version of himself that's happily lesbian married won't awaken anything in him.

Shen Qingqiu didn’t really think much of it. Sure, Luo Binghe liked to act like a little housewife, but that was nothing new; he’d been doing that since he was a teenager. And yes, he seemed to have something of a wifekink, but whether the wife in question was Shen Qingqiu or Luo Binghe himself seemed to depend on his mood. All things considered, there wasn’t really anything that made him question Luo Binghe’s gender. Why would he? Binghe was the stallion protagonist! Yes, granted, he was softer and more feminine in comparison to his original PIDW self, but that was just because he was happy, nothing more. As long as Binghe was happy, Shen Qingqiu was perfectly content.
Of course, becoming complacent meant it was the perfect time for the universe to throw a wifeplot at them.

Summary
I don’t normally pay that much attention to the credits. In general, I tend to care more about the fictional characters than the real humans playing them, but this had caught my attention.
I mean, it wasn't the first serial that ever put in a SecUnit as a villain instead of a prop. RihaniLane Street had actually made their SecUnit villain sympathetic before it tried to kill everyone. And obviously this fictional SecUnit was going to be a villain, too, because they always were, but that scene was —
The credits said ‘Made and Produced in GoodNightLander Independent.’
Oh.-
Or, Murderbot has feelings about finding positive representation.
Mostly positive.
Even when humans try, they get SecUnits wrong in media.
(Not the murder, the murders were justified, but the writers made the fictional SecUnit like cubicles)
