“He’s been like this all day,” Maddie says with a grin on her face. She shifts Nash in her arms, pointing over at Eddie as she says, “Look who it is, sweetie. It’s Eddie!”
Nash frowns, looking confused. “Eddie?”
Maddie nods. “Yeah, that’s Eddie!”
“Eddie!” Nash yells, reaching for Buck. “Eddie!”

He expects to find some petite woman with smooth brown hair and neat scrubs plastered to Eddie's front. What he finds instead is a very tall, very hot man cradling Eddie's face, titling it upwards into a kiss that looks gentle and earnest, his other hand splayed large and confident against Eddie's waist.

How the Hell did you get ET so quickly?” Chimney grumbled, glaring at Buck and Eddie, who were squashed together on Athena and Bobby’s sofa, Buck’s left arm resting on the back behind Eddie’s shoulders, not touching them, but close enough for Eddie to know it was there. Eddie’s hand was resting half on his own leg, half on Buck’s, just above their knees, and he was absently rubbing them as they waited for the next round to begin. Buck’s hand brushed against Eddie’s, and Eddie glanced at him, giving him one of “their” smiles, the ones that were reserved for Buck only. Fond, amused, comfortable.“Come on, Howie, you know the two of them share the same brain cell!” Maddie laughed, and Buck stuck his tongue out at his sister and muttered something to Eddie that sounded like “sore loser”, to which Eddie almost shot his mouthful of beer out through his nose.
“But still, they’re the only non-couple team and they’re still winning, what’s that about?” Chimney asked.
