Summary
After a mission in Mexico goes wrong, SHIELD Agents Barnes and Rogers are given the job of hunting down the notorious Hawkeye and the Black Widow, the only problem being: no one even knows what they look like.
On the other side of the law, Clint's enjoying messing with their new SHIELD shadows, especially seeing how close he can get to Agent Barnes without him realising, but he makes the mistake of getting attached, and that makes everything more complicated.

Summary
Four years after the Battle of New York, Clint has created a stable life for himself and his young daughter, free of the dangers of SHIELD work.
The Winter Soldier turned himself in to the Avengers, expecting a death sentence or lifetime of imprisonment. Instead, he found absolution and an invitation to join the team. He is still adjusting to life as an Avenger when he meets Clint Barton and his daughter.
The young man that Bucky Barnes used to be was wholeheartedly enthusiastic about meeting his soulmate, but Bucky is not sure there’s a place for him in his soulmate’s life anymore.
Clint has spent his whole life dreading meeting his soulmate, drawing false conclusions from the hurtful words that were spoken in haste. They are both drawn to each other and are willing to give this a try, but will have to work together to overcome the shadows of their past.
Excerpt:
It’s one of the largest soulmarks Bucky has ever seen. The script in Bucky’s neat cursive handwriting starts at the crest of one shoulder and arcs below Clint’s collarbones to end at the crest of the other shoulder, golden letters that no tattoo ink has ever been able to replicate.

“Have dinner with me,” the other man said, once Clint was sorted, and it was neither a demand nor a request, but something in-between that sent a tingle down Clint’s spine.
“Now?” Clint blurted, glancing around at the afternoon sunshine filtering through the trees around them.
James chuckled. “Tonight,” he corrected. “I’ll pick you up at seven.”
“Sure?” Clint said, bewildered and — okay, he was still a little confused by James’ interest in him, a lot of weirdly turned on, and bafflingly into the way he made requests sound like orders. “I can — I can do that.”
It was disconcerting to be the object of such clear desire, especially having made such an utter fool of himself in the elevator.
“Good,” James said with a smile, a little bit of the sunshine warmth he’d shown Natasha, but tempered with something darker and more heated. “Wear something nice,” he instructed, and when he walked away his hand trailed down the bare skin of Clint’s arm, his thumb ghosting over Clint’s wrist in a way that made him shiver.
What the fuck.

SHIELD Agent Clint Barton goes undercover at a coffee shop to protect a potential kidnapping victim. He's not expecting anything more rigorous than making some espressos and keeping an eye on the target. Then a handsome stranger walks through the doors, and all of his plans go out the window. There's something different about the man calling himself Dominic Vitali. Something else lurking underneath that chiseled jawline and raw sex appeal. And Clint's going to find out what.
