Summary
The Bad Batch protects their own. It’s their most sacred promise to each other, come hell or high water. When a reg named Echo joins Crosshair’s squad, Crosshair makes that promise again.
However, in the stark halls of Kamino, Crosshair discovers that Echo’s decision to join the Bad Batch is only the beginning. On Kamino, Crosshair and his brothers are helpless to watch as Echo’s augmentations thrust him into the sights of the Kaminoan scientists. The Bad Batch promised to protect Echo, but the promises of clones are fragile things.
As Echo struggles to heal in the midst of a war and the Batch’s loyalties are tested, darkness creeps ever-closer, irresistible and unrelenting. The war is nearing its end, and none of them will escape unscathed.

And thus it had always baffled him when Cody had spoke of the kind Jetti he served under, or when Wolffe spoke of his as a buir. Fox had never had a kind interaction with a Natborn. In his eyes, they were all the same greedy men. This did not stop him of course, from taking the pirate's deal.
Or: Hondo kidnaps Fox, and upon seeing how smart Fox is, offers him a job. Fox takes it. This, somehow, winds up saving the Galaxy.

Or: Kai realizes that history likes to repeat itself when he finds out that he is far too similar to Morro than he would ever like to be.

Or… What if Riyu was not the only one trapped by Imperium in season 1 episode 1 of Dragons Rising? And what if Lloyd wasn’t there to save Arin and Sora from their claws?
Or… Lloyd is captured by Imperium to be used as their new power source. Because of this, he is not there to save Arin and Sora in the first episode.

Lloyd stares at her for a beat too long and she chuckles nervously. “I, uh- might go check on Arin though. Not- not because he needs to checked-in on, just- doing a nice friendly thing, yep, okay, bye, I’m leaving now.” She slips out of her chair and dashes out of the kitchen. She scowls, smacking the side of her head as soon as she’s out of sight and speed-walking down some hallway she doesn’t find familiar.
