“I did no such thing, dumbass.” Lucifer rolled his eyes. “I asked you for consent. Your own soul let mine in. You may have felt as unpleasant as trying to wrangle a cactus, but none of that whole sequence would have worked if you kicked me out.”
“Show me.” The words were out of his mouth without his consent, and he immediately cursed himself.
Lucifer blinked dumbly at him. “What?”

The next random lobby voice was low, smooth, and like liquid gold. "Hey guys, let's have a good game."
"Oh. My. God." Reki swooned. Metaphorically and literally. The voice scratched an itch in his brain. It warmed his cheeks and other places. It made his heart beat quicken. The sexiest voice he'd ever heard. "His voice.. Chat help. This is why I'm gay."
There was an audible clearing of a throat. A light cough, not quite an ahem, but definitely an attention grab. "You think I have a nice voice?"
"Uhhhh-" Reki squeaked out some sort of flustered noise as his eyes flew across his screen from chat to his in-game audio status. Yup, that was unmuted. The next sound was even more high pitched. "Yep!"
He furiously clicked the mute button as his face felt like the inside of a volcano and of course, of course, chat and Miya heard that. He ignored his friend's laughter ringing through discord and paid no mind to the millions of blushing Rekis filling his chat box, because nice voice a.k.a. snowybigfoot was talking again.

Summary
Max Goof, a college freshman excited for independence from his overprotective dad, and Bradley Uppercrust III, a fraternity leader who has wanted nothing but his father's approval, lead very different lives. Bradley is upset at Max's willingness to throw away his old life and his father's love, while Max is frustrated that he has to share a dorm with the overbearing, stuck-up frat boy who has never had to worry about anything. As tension grows between them, secrets get exposed and bad decisions get made as the two young adults progress through life and suppress their growing feelings for the other.
