    In the weeks to come, Tim found himself spending more and more time with Selina who never even asked if he wanted to go home. His parents had called, once, just to make sure the new help was doing her job but truthfully, Tim hadn’t even noticed that they had a new help.

     

    Every second that he wasn’t with Selina or in school, he spent researching, making quiet inquiries and bribing officials. All from the comfort of his home. He knew that he was much to weak to actually fight the Joker but he had other options. Arkham was possibly the least secure secure-prison that ever existed and most of the people were trained to look the other way when it came to the people visiting or leaving.

     

    Obtaining thallium wasn’t really a challenge either, he just bought some via Drake Industries, which produced some optical lenses in which it was needed anyway. No one bat an eye and he got the poison within two days.

    Following Robins death, Tim decides to kill the Joker, becomes friends with Catwoman and later starts a relationship with Red Hood. Somehow, all of these things are connected.

    And then Bruce died, and it suddenly felt like a wall he’d been leaning on all this time collapsed, and he stumbled.

    Yet his mind found itself skeptical. He realized– Bruce might be alive, and if we don’t find him we might never.

    He was called delusional. More and more things he hadn’t realized he was so attached to, that gave him a sense of security and identity were taken away.

    People he thought he could trust to ask for help would not. The ones who would’ve no matter what were gone. His time as Robin was no more, uniform given away to someone who would do him harm.

    Deeper and deeper he went into this darkness.

    Fine. What did it matter? He didn’t need any of them, he could do it all by himself. He would do it all by himself.

    More and more lines and boundaries he held were stepped over and over and over. Going through various countries, until eventually he is found.

    A man named Ra’s is willing to support him, who believes him, and shall so long as he works with him to deal with a little problem of his.

    He accepts, for what else is there for him to lose?
