Summary
There is a forest in a village that has always had an air of mystery around it. Many rumors surround it, mysterious events, strange flora and fauna, an ever constant mist in the center, hell their been rumors that a very old demon lives in there. All these rumors have one thing in common, some force, ether mystical or physical, drives people out that venture too far in.
Recently though, the people that go in have consistently gone missing, the disappearances tended to be those that didn’t prepare, but now it’s even the veteran hunters that disappear.
“Hmm, It seems quite troubled times are ahead of us, would you say Invader of the forest.” A kitsune speaks, sitting on a rock with a straw mat on it. Her kin has all died, ether by a request with a heavy cost, human intervention and fear, or by not finding anyone to make a deal and used their power to much.
But her life will changed even more than being known by the locals, perhaps she won’t die alone after all. Or she will be hunted out of fear, who knows...

Summary
To put it simply, the world is against Izuku Midoriya.
Born quirkless, there isn't a single person in his life who would reach out to help him. The most he gets is pity, and even that is a rare occurrence. So he's decided to end it all tonight, up on a cliff a fair distance from home.
What he didn't consider was that sometimes the motivation you need to push forward and keep chasing your dreams, despite everyone who doubts you, can come from within. Or rather, someone from within...

Summary
(A rewrite of Perception, with changes from the original story)
Midoriya never thought his life would turn out this way.
As a kid, all he wanted was to be a hero. I mean, what kid didn't? Growing up in a world where heroes were praised and more people had quirks than didn't, it's hardly surprisingly that Midoriya wanted to help save others.
Of course, being told he was quirkless, then deaf, would quickly derail those plans.
Okay, so maybe he couldn't be a hero, but he could still learn to live his life, right? He made new friends, even as those he thought were friends abandoned him without a thought. He met new people, learned to communicate in new ways, and even found himself content for the first time in his short life.
Who knew this would all go far deeper than he could have ever imagined?

Summary
At the dawn of quirks one thing became clear early in. Only women received them, men were born quirkless without fail.
Izuku Midoriya was unlucky enough to be born a man in a world that valued power and told him that because of the way he was born he had none. Beat it into him, in fact. Despite that he still wanted to become a hero.
When finally pushed to the edge, he is put on a new path. If the world says he's weak and won't let him prove a man can be a hero, they shouldn't have to fear him as a villain. And he will save those like him, that society left behind.
