Summary
Henri used to be a rather famous figure skater until an accident that left her partially paralyzed from the waist down. She’s been ghosting through life, trying, desperately, to find some reason to keep going. Henri realizes that she doesn’t have anything, or anyone, left, she thinks that maybe she’d be better off dead and tries to off herself only to be saved by off-duty PC Yasmin Khan.
Yasmin Khan realizes she isn’t doing much with her life. At least, its not what she wants to be doing. She had to move back in with her parents after a falling out with her flat mate and being unable to find a way afford one on her own in London on a PC’s salary. When she saves a woman from jumping off the bridge she was running on her life changes and she wonders if maybe she was meant for something more.

Summary
Princess Yasmin Khan had been raised knowing two things.
The first, is that the war will never end.
However when that was proven wrong, she learnt the second: That one day she will be the wife of the living Goddess of Gallifrey.
To most people, the first was no longer relevant, a memory of knowledge now shifted to victory or defeat depending on where you kept your feet.
To Yaz it became all the more relevant when she realised the meaning of the second.

"I realized something," Yaz starts.
"And what's that?" Jace asks.
"I always fancied it, you know," She fiddles with the ring on her index finger; feels it make an indent on her skin. "A gap year. Finding myself. Never really did it. I was too focused on uni. But I'd like to. With you."
Something flashes across Jace’s face. Her eyes light up. “Yasmin Khan, are you propositioning me?”
Yaz tilts her head. Grins a little. “So what if I was?”
Yaz is an up-and-coming investigative journalist with UNIT. Only all her coworkers, save for two, hates her guts. Same old, same old. When she's assigned to write a puff piece on the Division, it leads her onto a trail of shady inventions and a disgraced inventor by the name of Jace Smith. Which would be fine, really, if Yaz hadn't met Jace in a pub all those months ago and began seeing her secretly. Nothing can ever be that simple, can it?

Summary
Yasmin Khan gets a new job as a counsellor for the Tecteun Foundation, a renowned children's organisation, where she will also help the head of research, Eden T. Brown, with her new education project. Except the Foundation's director is a known homophobe, and Yaz can't risk anyone there finding out about her sexuality if she wants to make sure the girls who live at the Foundation are okay.
And she definitely shouldn't get too close to the director's daughter...
