Summary
Dante turned around to call out to Trish but froze as he caught a small glimpse of purple in one of the adjacent rooms. The wall had obviously been collapsed by the seal’s blast, creating a new opening to the room.
Slightly buried in rubble, a portion of a familiar armor and a purple cape peaked out of the pile of rocks.
Nelo Angelo...
Vergil…

Summary
Dante hated to admit it but weddings were not that bad.
Usually he would scoff at anything that was too mushy for his tastes but there was something about it that made his heart flutter.
Like he was a damn teenage girl in a cliché early 90s movie. But there he was, standing in a church watching as Nero and Kyrie were tying the knot in front of him.

Summary
Dante was more than familiar with alcohol to know what it felt like to be intoxicated. It was hard to actually get shit-faced drunk with his demonic blood but he had more than gotten there at the lowest points of his life.
But now reunited with Vergil - with his brother's lips on his own… He might have to reconsider.

Having a legacy to live up to was a pretty shitty thing in Dante’s opinion.
He was burdened with many legacies the moment he was born.Dante hadn't even made it to his 20s when he was left with yet another legacy.
His brother’s.

Summary
Over the years, Dante had gotten quite good at ignoring what his demonic instincts were trying to tell him.
Dante knew it wasn’t the healthiest choice to ignore half of his biology, but the habit was hard to break after practicing it for over 20 years. He lost count of how many times Vergil gave him disapproving looks when he didn’t know something about their shared heritage.
But a Heat? Never even heard of that.

Summary
Demonic souls are quite different from those of humans. They can stay on the mortal plane past the destruction of the body and linger on. Either as a devil arm or as a soul without a body - they are robust and can’t be easily rid of.
What demonic souls can’t survive, however, is an injured soul. Cracked, split or even a small piece chipped off of the whole - they cease to exist immediately. Many have tried, even Mundus in his greed for more and stronger warriors, but nothing could be done to change the fact that their souls could not live on divided.
Well… That was until the Sons of Sparda were born.

Summary
Dante wasn’t too sure how to feel about the whole Temen-ni-gru situation.
On one hand he was really glad he caught his idiot older brother before he could literally throw himself into the Underworld. On the other…
Vergil had been behaving more strangely than usual.

Summary
When V saw his dear twin for the first time in many years, he feared Dante had moved on.
Time hadn’t been kind to his little brother.
Dante had aged decades while he was gone and imprisoned.
It was hard to think of the years he spent as nothing but a shell - adrift in a still ocean with no one but Mundus’s poison as his companion. -

Summary
Nero wasn’t sure what happened.
One moment he was on his way to collect his payment from his current job. It was easy - too easy in his opinion.
The few demons that took residence in the abandoned castle were weak and promptly fell after just a few slashes with Red Queen. It was almost disappointing and not even worth the travel, but hey money is money.
Nero was just minding his own business leaving the castle grounds when a slight prick to his neck made his entire body heavy and unresponsive in seconds.

Summary
Screeches echoed through the air as the twin sons of Sparda fought against a horde of demons. The two brothers were perfectly in sync - dodging and weaving between the other's lightning-fast cuts and punches as though it was a well rehearsed dance.

Summary
Nero was pissed. Dante and Vergil have been back from their escapades to hell for a week now and they still haven’t fucking talked about it.
Not one of his most burning questions had been answered and he was getting tired of it. When all that anger exploded and turned into a full on fight he has the option to either submit to his father or learn his place in their pack dynamic the hard way.
And Nero was quite stubborn, wasn't he?

Summary
Familiar faces withered away into strangers. Names, feelings and memories scattered into beautiful red flowers until he didn’t remember the name of anyone anymore. Vash was left standing in a breathtaking garden protected by a glass dome with his twin by his side.
And his reality shattered as his brother purred the words, “I did it all for you…”
Everything fell apart around him — and so did his mind.Every fond memory that kept him going over the many long years he lived fell into dust and scattered like the sand in the Great Sand Ocean

Summary
Vash and Knives live together in their very own Paradise. A modest house surrounded by nature and woods with only each other as company – but that is about to change.
"Why didn't you throw out this apple…?" Knives said as he picked up the baby apple and inspected it.
"I really think a little apple like that would suit our family well, don't you think?" Vash asked and sent Knives a coy smile while batting his lashes.

Summary
Anyone that ever dared to dabble in illegal activities knew their name. Just having a small contact with the underworld was enough to have words of caution thrown your way.
Never enrage the typhoon.
They were feared by the biggest organizations and mafias out there – And for a good reason.
No one knew their real name or face.
They were like a shadow that brought wrath upon those that deserved it. Like a fallen angel descending from above to punish those wretched sinners.
They went by many names. Names that were only muttered in the darkest of alleys, barely above a whisper – they were frightened by the idea that the Angel would hear them.
The Stampede.
The Humanoid Typhoon.
The Angel.

Summary
If there is one thing this blasted mission got him, it was some twisted kind of closure.
And a nephew.
He didn't know if Vergil birthed the child himself or if he accidentally knocked up some poor unsuspecting woman, but the fact that Nero existed in the first place left him spiraling.

Summary
Being a prince of hell was more boring than one might think.
Throughout his childhood, Nero never lacked anything. He got spoiled by the entirety of the castle's staff, got almost everything he asked for, and had only the best instructors available.
His father, King Vergil, on the other hand, was a completely different story.
