Summary
Shadow looked like vengeance incarnate, chiselled from black glass and hellfire, with all the charm of a ticking time bomb.
And Sonic hated—hated—how good it looked on him.
“Nope,” he muttered, swerving past a piece of twisted metal. “Absolutely not. No. Ick. He’s the worst. Leaves soap scum in the sink. Folds towels like he’s smuggling state secrets.”
Amy’s voice came through the comms, far too casual. “Are you listing turn-offs again?”
“They’re not turn-offs if you’re not turned on!”
They’ve broken up three times, divorced twice, called it quits once, got back together once because Shadow forgot to file the paperwork, and once because Sonic bet he could beat Shadow in a race for a date night. There was also that brief “we’re just rivals who happen to share a bed” phase that lasted exactly two days before someone threw a shoe. Either way, their relationship status is basically a complicated math problem with no solution, and everyone else has given up trying to keep score. Every time they try to move on, fate—or maybe just bad timing—drags them back in, kicking and snarling.

Summary
Based on Kleric’s video; “10 ways Link can make it up to that divine beast on his own”, We follow Link in his endeavours to prove to Revali how far spite can really take a man.
“Maybe we should just settle this one on one—But where…? Oh, I know...! How about up there?!”
Revali pointed his wing towards the ship parading the skies. Vah Medoh gleams in the distance. He spat at him with malice.
“Oh, you must pardon me—I forgot you have no way of making it up to that Divine Beast on your own!”
Whatever Revali said after fell onto deaf ears. That Pompous Rito needed to learn what flightless really meant, if he truly wanted a battle in the skies, Link would give him just that. There was a reason he was considered Hylia's chosen.
It was not his merit within combat that gifted him the title of hero but his fearless, albeit reckless, courage, and unfortunately, Link did not understand what limits were. His courageous spirit that possessed him had travelled through time, traversed the dark dimensions between, and defeated the demon known to all as Ganon however many times as needed.
How bad could a little flight up an oversized mechanical Cucco be?

“My heart,” the voice whispered, stepping closer, “beats for you—as it always has.”
The words hit like a slap. Sonic’s body locked up, spine stiff, mind skidding like tyres on black ice.
No. No way. That’s not—
That wasn’t Shadow. That wasn’t something Shadow would ever say. Not in a hundred years. Not even as a joke.
“…Wait.” The word came out rough. As if it scraped against something inside him. “You’re not Shadow. Are you.”
The smile changed—less like a stranger's grin now and more like something tender. Familiar even. Like Sonic had just said something kind. He tilted his head, studying him with calm reverence.
“That is correct, my liege,” he said, and then, with an almost theatrical grace, dropped to one knee. “It is I. Lancelot.”
And just like that, the world tilted beneath Sonic’s feet.
Or—Lancelot ends up hijacking Shadow's body!

Summary
After the events of Sonic Prime, Shadow is the only one who knows where the Paradox Prism is hidden—and naturally, Eggman wants it. When a botched ambush lands Sonic and Shadow in captivity together, close proximity becomes a problem. Or perhaps it’s the solution neither of them saw coming.
But escaping is only the beginning. With Eggman closing in, the battle for the Prism forces them to confront more than just an enemy. As the line between rivalry and something deeper begins to blur, they’re left facing the truth they’ve been avoiding all along.
By the time they realise what they truly mean to one another, will the moment to act have already slipped away?
Or—this fic was once a oneshot of "the classic Sonic and Shadow trapped in a box. Again!" Before it then spiraled into an entire plotline.

Summary
When Eggman tampers with the Tome of Ages to rewrite history, the artifact shatters, leaving reality fractured. To repair itself, the world fills the gaps with stories, but Eggman’s meddling erases each tale’s rightful hero. He tries to cast himself as the protagonist, but history rejects him. Instead, Sonic is pulled into these rewritten narratives—always a side character, never the hero. Worse, Shadow stands in his way, the villain of every tale.
With the help of Atlas, a sentient fragment of the Tome, Sonic must uncover the lost narratives and collect the scattered fragments of his friends, restoring their memories and breaking them free. From a court jester in Shadow’s kingdom to a corporate cog, a stowaway on a cursed ship, and beyond, Sonic rewrites each story’s fate, proving heroism isn’t fate—it’s choice.
But Eggman won’t let go of his grip on reality. If he wins, he’ll fuse the fractured worlds under his rule. If Sonic wins, the story is his to shape—including the one he never expected; his own with Shadow.
