“You cannot live in the bathroom.” Ilya crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall, the pastry in a brown kraft bag dangling limply from one hand. “Look, most fans are gone. It’s just us, and the people who work here. And they seem nice.” He let his fingertips trace the door. “Even if they cover you in coffee.”
“Ohmigosh, that was an accident!! I swear it was!” The barista was still squawking; his tone very much one as if he’d personally destroyed the formula to curing all known diseases. But Ilya wasn’t listening.
Shane was.
Shane was so. Fucking. Adorable.
He was wearing an ill fitting plush dinosaur onesie; the cuffs of the pants slightly too high on his ankles, and the shoulders stretched too tight on his muscular frame. Ilya wanted to clutch him like a stuffed animal and never let go.
The bright red tail dragged on the tile floor, as Shane took a single and very miserable step out of the bathroom. “Not one word, Ilya.”
