Summary
Unfortunately for whoever was tasked with grading this I took the open topic individual essay and presentation as a challenge. The only requirement was to connect it to one of the five provided sources. I chose “Moral Courage and Intelligent Disobedience“ and somehow found a way to connect it. This was almost entirely written because I found it hilarious and wanted to say I was reading fanfiction for research. It could definitely be written better, I almost faked having an actual argument, until around midnight the day before it was due and deadlined. Even so, this is my crowning achievement based purely on the horror of anyone who asked what my topic was.

I was writing a perfectly normal english assignment, then at some point it turned into fanfiction. Oops. At least this will actually be finished since its an assignment. Updates fridays maybe.
Update: I do plan to finish this someday, probably fully rewritten. But, with extra consideration and motivation. Among other things it would be a waste of a good name to abandon it now.

A world where some people have magic. These can be classified into 3 groups; monarch is the highest, capable of insane power. Witch is the only kind that can be learnt, it’s like monarch magic but significantly less powerful and more specialized. The most common kind of magic is the abilities, a specific type of magic the user is born with and has to practice.
In a world with magic some are more powerful than others. They rise to the top, forming rival groups with way to much power on hand. This as expected leads to a messy world of politics and shenanigans.
Hello from 2025, I’m not finishing this. It is officially abandoned. If anyone wants to pick it up they are welcome to, but I fear the final nail in the coffin was my sister finding it. Don’t tell your siblings your Ao3 :(

Lola's roommate has a new date. She is happy with him. Stuck in a blissful ignorance of romance. But Lola, a florist, starts to notice things. Every time this guy gives her roommate flowers they have some sort of deathly meaning behind them. But if only she had noticed sooner.
