Happy blinks. Swallows thickly. That is crying. The kid is crying. Jesus christ, Happy doesn't know what to do about crying kids. "Kid?" He asks, just as hesitant, because what the fuck is he supposed to say?
"Sorry about-making you wait-" The kid hiccups and sniffles.
Jesus christ. This is not happening.
"Where are you?" He asks, gruff, eying the school and its perimeter with distrust.
The kid pulls in a wet breath. "Just- inside. Inside the school. In a bathroom. I'll be out in just a second, I promise, I'm so sorry-"
He's going in. He's goddamn going in there.

He was pretty sure it had something to do with his super healing, but he wasn’t completely sure. They never really had to test it out, after all. But he healed fast, so it generally made sense that his weird radioactive spider system also fought off any infections and illnesses.
