Summary
“What are you still doing up?”, the voice made Dolos jump out of their skin. They weren’t expecting anyone else to be up at this time, or to be on this level of the ship. To their knowledge everyone else had decided on rooms lower than where they were other than Olga, but with the rising tensions in the group at the moment it shouldn’t surprise them too much that everyone was spread out. In any case, they turned around to see the person they least expected: Jens Troy.
“I could say the same to you”, they tried to respond how they normally would, to sound how they normally would, but Dolos could tell by the look in his eyes that they probably didn’t sound any better than how they looked right now. They knew that they probably looked somewhat disheveled from their inability to sleep and the general overall restlessness they felt. They could see the concern in his eyes, but they also noticed his inaction in speaking on this concern. For the first time in a long time he seemed genuinely unsure of what to do. They say in an awkward silence just staring out into the open ocean. It was like that for a couple minutes, and it was a couple minutes too long for Dolos.

Summary
“Well I don’t care if I get hurt!”, Dolos exclaimed with the most emotion they have probably been able to express since this had all started. “None of that matters if you’re not still with me”, they stared at what was currently the back of Jen's head. This caused the aforementioned head to whip around, his eyes studying Dolos, as if he was looking for some kind of inconsistency. Something to prove that Dolos didn’t mean what they had said. Something to prove that this wasn’t really happening. Suddenly the distance between them was closed. Jens was standing in front of Dolos looking down at where they were sitting. His hand had gone to grab their shoulder, where the blanket had slipped off them earlier.
“You don’t really mean that”, when his hand had finally landed on its intended spot his eyes went wide and his hand flinched back. Dolos gave a frown both at the statement and the loss of touch. His hand was so warm against their prickling ice cold skin and they missed it. Their tired eyes reached the now somewhat panicked ones of Jens.
