Haru wants to go around the town and enjoy the hotel pool, while Daisuke would be perfectly happy to stay in the hotel bed and enjoy some “quality time”. Just like their last trip they get pulled into another crime. Daisuke is concerned it will ruin his plans for Sunday. And Haru has no idea what those plans are.

“Magic tricks?” The rich bastard hums, wearing sunglasses inside because he’s a giant douchebag (and because they have an AI overlay he’s probably using to invade people’s privacy as they speak). The disdain fairly drips off him.
He bristles despite himself, “It's sleight of hand! It's useful! Cho-san taught me some, and it helps calm kids down when they’re upset.”
“I see,” Kambe says, sounding entirely as if he does not see.
Katou stalks away, thoroughly riled. Callous bastard.
“I told you it’s not seduction!” Several heads turned in their direction and he abruptly lowered his voice, “It’s just, acting as a distraction I guess."
“A distraction.” There’s a rumble to Kambe’s voice, low and dark. Something that raises the hairs at the nape of Katou’s neck.
He swallows, “yeah.”
The brick wall behind him is digging into his back. He’s sure he hadn’t been pressed up against so tightly against it minutes ago. Kambe suddenly seems dangerous, for some reason.

Daisuke was met with a set of golden eyes. Their colour were neither that of the gold bars stored under his manor, nor that of the sunlight that had been burning on his skin. Those were too mediocre, compared to the one before his very own eyes right then. It was the polished amber coated in ripe honey and dipped in chamomile tea – so bright and brilliant, yet so pleasant and sweet. Completely opposite to the scorching beams of the sun, and definitely contrasting with the boring gleams of gilt and gold.

A case for First Division indeed. A maniac on the loose was roaming around Japan, apparently, and the assigned officers were tasked with his apprehension. The unknown subject had not only taken hostages numerous times, but he was also being charged with homicide and terrorism. From shootings to bombings, that guy’s resumé was something he didn’t have the time to unpack. The only information known about him was very basic and not at all helpful: asian man, around his forties or fifties according to some witnesses. Last seen in Hokkaido, now hiding in an unknown location.
Nobody knew further. That man was, if anything, a ghost.
(Or; Daisuke actually does his job as an inspector, and Haru is very unlucky when he's off duty.)
