    As Loki's life drained from him, amidst the wreckage of the Statesman and the bodies of Asgardian refugees, the Space and Power Stones worked together, combining their power and joining with Loki's own magic to send the disgraced prince back to the beginning.

    Now in the past and way over his head, Loki must scramble together the broken pieces of himself to form a somewhat functioning person, dodge parental concern and overbearing but well-meaning older brothers, and stop Thanos before he succeeds in his goal of wiping out half of all life in the Universe.

    Easier said than done.

    This wasn't the first time Clint's hearing aid batteries died on a mission. But Clint couldn't let that get in the way now. This mission was different. And Clint knew what an honour it was to be part of it. He wasn't going to let something as small as not being able to hear get in the way.

    Or

    Clint's hearing aids die shortly after being kidnapped as head SHIELD agent of Loki's Glorious Purpose. Too bad Allspeak doesn't work with lip reading. Not that Loki is going to let that stop him from communicating.

    Before his first battle, Loki cast a spell to ensure that, if he died, he would be brought back to life in a safe place in the body he had at the time of casting. He didn’t find a way to keep his memories intact, so after he survived the battle he discarded the plan as a childish impulse. If he thought about the spell at all over the next several centuries, he assumed that it had never worked, or had lost its power.

    Then a young Loki woke up on—was this really Midgard?

    (Or, Thanos was WRONG when he said “No resurrections this time.”)
