Logan has a no entry sign on his door for a reason. The realm of Logic kills all whimsy, and Logan is working very hard to hold something down deep within Thomas' psyche. It's a shame that they do not realize it until it's already come loose.
AKA Janus sealed Orange into the subconscious, in a labyrinth of the mind a long time ago, to prevent his volatile nature from springing forth and causing more damage than the side could fix. Of course he had asked for Logan's assistance at the time. Little had he known year later, Logan had been compromised.
