    Summary

Peter is fine, anyways. His boss might fire him soon, the Avengers might arrest him soon, the principal might expel him soon, but none of it has happened yet. And his dad—
“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
    “Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”
    -
Peter just wants to make it to sixteen so he can escape this life and strike out on his own. He has a plan and nothing will ruin it.
Not even Tony Stark quite literally crashing into his life.

    Bookmarker's Notes

I adore this story! It's so interesting to see Jon progress in a realistic way. Like, yes, it makes sense for him to be crowned King at some point because of his heritage, and that's kind of what everyone wants to write him as. But it's also very interesting to see how far he could progress on his own merits. Make him a legendary swordsman, and he has the makings for exactly this: son of a Lord Paramount, man of honor, etc. With all of that, it's neat to watch him build a life for himself, make a place for himself in a way that has nothing to do with his Kingly heritage. While I'd be happy if that's the direction you eventually go in, this is really a breath of fresh air. I've never read anything quite like this story. I love how Jon makes enemies, powerful enemies, but also makes powerful friends. I love seeing you explore these characters and matches that I've never seen anyone do before. And it's very cool to see how one twist - Jon going south in a believable way, can change things so dramatically from canon. I'm very excited to continue reading this work!

On ch 51. There's some grammar errors, and some odd ways of writing that bring it down from true master work, but still so much fun to read that I'd be happy to call it a 5.

Uuuggggghhhh Rhaenyra being buried in a shroud quartered with the Beesbury crest just slayed me. What a great end to a great story!

Only reason it’s not a 5 is that at times it felt a little wish-fulfill-y, but very very close to the upper edge
