When Hyuntak throws a punch at him, Seongje focuses on how delicate his hands are for someone who spends his time fighting. When Hyuntak kicks him, Seongje focuses on the way Hyuntak’s leg bends, how his movements flow, and the self-satisfied look on Hyuntak’s face when the kick lands.
Everything about him is just pretty.

Summary
There was only the sound of Seongje’s breathing, a vibrant hum from the street below.
Gotak pulled out a band-aid with little dogs printed on it. He plastered it on Seongje’s cut.
“You’re doing it again,” Seongje said, voice softer this time. Tender.
“What?” Gotak raised his eyebrows.
His chest tightened, holding onto the fact that he hadn’t admitted his feelings out loud, not even to his reflection in a mirror.
That maybe there was a way to stop himself from feeling so much for a person he shouldn’t. Still, in the end, he couldn’t go against what he felt.
“Looking at me like you want to hate me,” Seongje smiled, not arrogantly, something akin to pride. “But now things changed, and you don’t know how to hate me anymore.”
Or Gotak lives by four rules. One of them? Don’t interact with Seongje. He still breaks that one over and over again.

Hyuntak sets the boundary clear by always being the first to leave after they’ve done, no matter how trembling his legs are or how fucked out he might look.
Seongje is a little bit disappointed that he can’t read Hyuntak’s feelings easily like he used to, especially when the younger leans against the doorframe, cruel goodbye rolling out of his tongue sounds as sweet as candy with a cocky smile that Seongje knows will make his mischievous round eyes disappear.
“Gotta leave before you love me.”
Hyuntak says that every time. And surely he should, for Seongje hates his poor heart being seen cracked.

"Can you come with me tomorrow?" the where was left unsaid, though he still sounded unsure, almost ashamed to ask.And once again Hyuntak's blood momentarily boiled with anger at the fact that Humin even felt the need to ask, at the fact that it hadn't been taken for granted.
He had never let Humin go through anything on his own, he had stood guard between him and his guilt even during times where he himself could barely stand, so why would he do it now of all times?
How dare Park Humin even try to picture himself standing alone at the funeral of an old friend?"Of course, dumbass.", mumbled Hyuntak instead of letting his frustration and worry lash out in the form of unjustified rage.
