Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.

For anyone unaware, I’m talking about the new Wife Quiz by new user TongTongLikesHEs I tried it out last night, thinking it would be just like any other wife quiz. I usually get Guo Lingli (intro chapter 342) which I don’t have much complaint about. She’s a cool wife, and her arc with Sha Hualing is really fun. I figured I’d get her again with this one, she’s one of the few constants in the quizzes along with the main wives. This test was really weird, though, nothing like the others in the community. The questions were borderline insane and really hyper-specific. I ended up getting “Background Wife #241”????? Why is that even an option?!? It’s not my fault I couldn’t remember how to soothe a Qi Deviation in Heavenly Demons caused by the life energy overload of a Three-horned Stripeless Tiger!!! OTL

John Constantine beat the system of life and death until it fully refused to touch him anymore, and when it did, it never went well. It was a fact that the League had come to terms with, or those that knew, anyways. None of Constantine’s past could explain the kid in fuzzy pajamas that was curled up on a chair in the Justice League’s control room asking for the elusive brit.
Danny had barely made it to high school graduation only to be thrust into dealing with the millennia of bullshit waiting ever so patiently for the King of the Infinite Realms to look at. The fact that there was a weird amount of paperwork filed regarding some dude named John Constantine that looked like the weirdest form of tax fraud he’d ever seen was puzzling, and his parents committed that regularly. He has no idea what the hell he’s looking at.
Alternately: Danny is the inter-dimensional personification of the IRS for Death and the Unliving, and he just has a couple questions.
