Summary
After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.
At least, it would be, if the gosh darn villain weren't so sweet!

Tony just needs to finish his Intro to sociology paper, god knows why he needs this class for a engineering degree, but when he comes across an empty gas station at four in the morning (nobody ever said his life decisions weren’t dysfunctional as fuck) and finds a kid left there by his parents, it kick starts a little part of him he thought he had left behind with his father when he went to college. The kid is cute anyway, and he’s smart as hell.

Izuku was chosen for his lack of quirk. Aizawa was chosen for his quirk’s usefulness as it pertained to the mission. Both were scanned and vetted meticulously, followed for a minimum of one month (Izuku) and a maximum of three (Aizawa; it took much longer due to his pro-hero status).
Kidnapped and subjected to experimentation, torture, and horrors beyond comprehension, Izuku and Aizawa only have each other.
But left to the mercy of their captors, will their companionship be enough to break themselves out? Or instead, lead them to break apart in the process?
