Summary
In which they have more time in the church, and Poindexter gives Matt a different outlet.
"People died." Matt's voice is rough, a tremor in it that he doesn't manage to suppress as he repeats himself. "More lives would just be lost. That's not balance."
Poindexter shifts. Matt starts pulling his hand away, but Poindexter is faster, a hand darting from his wound, smeared and sticky from the blood. He presses his hand on Matt's, keeping the gloved palm flush against his cheek. "So what would make it balance?"
It's the note of desperation beneath the self assured mask that makes Matt pause, his hand staying in place. -

Ed leans closer, cutting off Izzy’s complaints. Izzy swallows hard at the sight of grey curls framing Ed's face like this.
"Have a little faith, Izzy," Ed says.
Izzy nods, because this is Ed asking, and well…what else could he do, really?
Still, he can’t operate on faith alone. “We’re making a plan this time,” he says, pinning Ed with a glare. Only when Ed rolls his eyes and lets out an exasperated ‘fine’ does Izzy look away.
Faith. Faith will end up with both of them floating through space. Fuck faith. -

Kinkmeme prompt: Matt's hypersensitivity means that it's easy to mess around with him enough to have a serious effect without actually putting much effort into it. All it takes is the right, light and fleeting touches in certain areas and a breathy quality of voice and speaking just close enough to his ear to have him come undone while still fully clothed. He doesn't even need full on contact or blatant touching below the belt.
I want to see Karen and Foggy double-teaming him and doing this while in the office or somewhere else.
Super duper bonus points if it's a semi-public or full on public area.
