Nagito narrowed his eyes.
Hinata’s shoulders were stiff. His jaw was tense.
He wasn’t running, though.

Summary
Hajime sighed as he entered Nagito’s cottage. His act of not wanting to be there was futile. Watching from his bed, Nagito stifled a laugh as Hajime put on his typical performance of apathy. Nagito was no stranger to feeling like he was a burden to those around him, but this was the one thing he was sure Hajime took indulgence in. If the way his body shook so violently when Nagito wrapped his lips around his length, or how he wasn’t able to hold back his desperate gasps as he teased his chest with his long, pale fingers didn’t tell him enough, Hajime continuing to come see him almost every night did. Nagito snickered to himself.
“What’s so funny?” Hajime asked, voice snappy and sharp.
“Oh, nothing, just glad you’re here. I feel honored whenever someone like you spends time with someone so unworthy like me.”
Hajime scoffed. “God, Nagito, will you cut it out with that whole thing?” Nagito wasn’t sure what he meant by this “thing”. He was only speaking the truth; he did feel honored.
“I apologize, Hajime.” He didn’t feel like fighting Hajime and trying to justify his point of view, not when he had other plans for the two of them that night.
(or: nagito surprises hajime with a gun during sex)

"And of course that’d put Hinata off. It’d have him pulling back and looking at him with those squinted eyes and furrowed brows, like he always does. Like Komaeda always gives him a reason to.
But he won’t leave. He’ll scrutinize and scold and try and fail to figure out why he’s like this, but he won’t walk away. In his confusion, and sometimes dread, he still finds the comfort of Komaeda being there. A solid body even when he’s losing to a spiral or just plain miserable.
So Komaeda doesn’t laugh, and Hinata doesn’t pull back to give him any sort of look. It’s a relatively functional arrangement."
Hinata and Komaeda tend to meet each other at night. It's not clear whether it's good for them or not. (Komahina angsty whiny beach sex.)
