Eraser Week Day 4: Alternate Universe
“remember, slow and steady,” shouta reminded for the nth time in the span of 10 minutes. he was lucky izuku was a sweet little angel or maybe he wasn’t quite at the age where kids become impatient and easily irritable because shouta’s hovering would’ve definitely be cause for a tantrum otherwise. instead, his angel of a toddler nodded seriously, eyes transfixed onto the mug he held firmly in both hands.
“okay, careful now,” shouta fussed one last time before sending the tot off to deliver the cup of coffee. he shot a grateful smile over the lady by the window who returned it reassuringly as she waited for her order.

everyone talked about the spark over you skin where a tattoo of sorts would appear the moment you made eye contact with your soulmate.
it looked like eraserhead knew this too. izuku had no doubt the man felt the same sensation shooting up his forearm even if eraser didn’t even flinch. those dark eyes only glancing between the new tattoo of what looked to be a bunny drowning in the fabric of a ridiculously long scarf and izuku clutching his own arm protectively. izuku’s sleeves hid his arm but they both knew he had the exact tattoo that matched eraser’s identically.
“interesting.”

BUT NOT LIKE THIS, he mentally screamed at whatever god thought this was a good idea at getting back at the man.
“are you stupid? do you have a death wish?” he hissed out incredulously, wiggling in his binds in distress. “because if you do, leave me out of it! oh my god.”

izuku gets kidnapped as the most powerful crime boss’s (unwilling) son. he fears for his life but not because of his amateur captors :’D

an unsettling thought whispered in his head that this was courting behaviour.
shouta physically batted away the thought and sighed. this was… an unexpected development. he did not want to have to call the kid out to explain inappropriate crushes. however, the evergreen scent in the air was nothing but platonic, more akin to a puppy in the presence of its dam rather than anything close to romantic.
he sighed again. he couldn’t tell what was running through the kid’s head when it came to his problem puppy.
