He grabbed Sam’s wrist, too thin, Jesus. and felt the pulse rabbit-quick beneath his fingers. "You're burning up," Dean said, though Sam hadn't complained. He never complained anymore. Sam just looked away.”

Summary
To delay the coming apocalypse and devastating fight between Michael and Lucifer, Dean inters himself in a magical safe-room until a better solution can be found. Cas and Sam carry on hunting in the meantime and searching for a way to kill Lucifer.
As they grow closer, Sam finds himself enamored by the angel but doesn’t know if his feelings would be reciprocated, feelings ranging from idolization to animalistic lust. Cas, meanwhile, is growing more human by the day as he has been cut off from Heaven’s power.

Jonathan has a nice voice. It’s deep, but never booming. It’s just kind and gentle, sometimes teasing and cynical but very rarely cruel. Steve clings to it like a life preserver.
“Hey, man,” Steve says, and it sounds so far from casual that he has to laugh a little bit. “Sorry to bother you. It's not… I didn't mean to bother you. You don’t have to do anything.”
“Don’t do that,” Jonathan says. His gentle voice sounds tinny coming through the walkie’s speaker.
“Do what?”
“Pull away when you need help.”

Steve trails off, hands turning over in circles as he contemplates the rest of his sentence.
Robin rolls her eyes and takes pity on him. “How did you know you like girls?”
“Okay,” Steve says with a decisive nod. “That’s fair. That’s fair.”
Robin raises her eyebrows and shrugs with a tight-lipped smile, an it’s a simple as that.
Apparently, for Steve, it’s not. “I guess what I’m actually asking,” he tries again, while Robin sets her pen down on the counter and tilts her head, bracing for whatever the latest dumb question Steve pulls out from under his mop of hair will shape up to be.
“Is how you know you don’t like guys."
Steve and Robin have a heart-to-heart, Jonathan comes back to town, and Nancy makes pie... or possibly cobbler.
