"And by the looks of it, it hurts you just like it can hurt the pufferfish" You tsk’ed, feeling more comfortable with the fact that he was still big but not nearly as giant as he had been before. "When a pufferfish inflates it flattens the organs, causing stress on its body which sometimes kills them"

Summary
Having been born an omega in Sigonia had not been a bad thing. It was seen as good luck; to have someone able to create life in barren Sigonia. Little Kakavasha had quickly grown out of that mindset, when he saw his people being massacred. Stress and having his first heat forcefully triggered had made him feral, and alphas showing interest at him only made his skin crawl.
Dr. Ratio had been the one exception.
