"I'm not an alcoholic," Dick says, but he will be a cop, and the shame cuts through his drunken haze.

“Bruce, this is not what you think it is,” Jason says into the cellphone a minute later. “You need to turn around, we’ve got a problem.”
A fourth person, one immediately recognizable, is pictured on the final page. The last person is not facing the camera, instead they are intently staring at the blue of a computer screen.
It is Jason's own head of black hair framed by the narrow lines of bookshelves, turned away and unaware.
"A big one, can't emphasize that enough. You need to pick me up, now."
Little handwriting, the kind that is halfway to cursive, lines the bottom of the photograph, and it's written in blue ink- maybe from a ballpoint pen.

Tom only smiles placatingly, almost as if chiding a petulant child. "Senior, I could pardon this insolence you're presenting to your Junior," He lilts, eyes snaking down Harry's seething form. "After all, what can a foul mouth do if your pleasant face 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 the eyes?"
Harry debates punching Tom Riddle in the face. He thinks to himself, such Muggle tactics would befit the pretentious bastard. If only Tom weren't smiling at him with such charm, that is..

𝘖𝘳, when Harry falls asleep reading The Half-Blood prince and wakes up in 1941 Hogwarts, he thinks such a good opportunity can't be wasted. Not when he had been flung back to the timeline where Tom Riddle hadn't committed any murders nor had created any Horcruxes.

Growing up on opposite sides of a war, the two could easily go their whole lives without meeting. But, when they shoot each other out of the sky over Tatooine, it becomes clear that the Force has other plans.(Or: Luke's a rebel Jedi raised by Padmé, Leia's an Imperial Sith raised by Vader. They accidentally crash land on Tatooine together and go on an adventure.)
