You tried your best to stay away from him—changing paths, trying to ignore his presence and attend the trainings early in Dorman Port when you knew he would be away. Yet, somehow, he always found you. And each time he found you, he made sure you never, ever forgot him until he was imbedded in your mind like the next breath you took.

    Until your body, your cheeks, your mouth.. every single part of you was red like the ripest of the apples—so ready, sweet and soft for him to take a bite out of.

    He would take more than a bite. He would devour you until nothing remained—until the sweet taste of you mixed in with the blood that never came off his hands. Until both of you were intertwined together, forever.
     
    The most saccharine apple on the tree was always the forbidden one, after all.
