Summary
"Munson residence," he answers absently, pinching the phone between his shoulder and ear, freeing up his hands even though he hasn’t yet decided what to grab. Is any of the salsa even good still?
He doesn't even entertain the notion that someone might be calling for him; anyone wanting to talk to him would be using his shiny new-old radio. (A well-loved heirloom of Dustin's, apparently thitherto relegated to a desk drawer since it didn't have enough juice to handle all of the Cerebro updates the little nerdling had wanted to install. Eddie is Gollum-precious about the thing, and none of the little shits can ever know.)
But, contrary to all his expectations, on the phone a voice says: "Eddie! What's up?"Bookmarked by StrangeMisery

Summary
“Hate to break it to ya Eds,” He says, and Eddie wishes he’d call him freak or anything else. “But once you fight the monsters, you’re part of us.”
“What if I don’t wanna be?”
Steve shrugs. "Too bad."

Summary
“What’s wrong with what I wrote?” Steve whines, running his fingers through his hair until it’s all mussed up and falling into his face.
Chrissy snorts. “It sounds like you’re telling him his hair is frizzy and dry.”
“I said it was pretty!” He throws his hands in the air before crossing them and pouting his lower lip out.
Chrissy can’t help but laugh. She’s always liked Steve. He’s nicer than most of his friends, and he’s easy to talk to. But this is a side she’s never seen of him. She’s not sure anyone has; can’t imagine Carol or Tommy seeing him put his whole heart into something and not tearing it to shreds.
“Do you use conditioner?” she asks, throwing finger quotations around it as she reads it off the crumpled page.
Steve’s blushing again, cheeks all blotchy and red, rather unbecoming for the shoo-in for this year’s prom king. “Well, I thought you said you’d help!” he says, a little too loud for the library.
Or: a secret admirer au.

Summary
Steve Harrington is overprotective. It's an endearing trait that only fans the flames of Eddie's crush on him. But when Steve decides to be stubborn and protective about Eddie going up to Indy to a bar, it ends with a confession Eddie doesn't intend to spill, and an opportunity that Eddie never expects Steve to give him.

Summary
"Bring cash, or you can suck my dick, Harrington.”
Steve tilts his head, watching Eddie as Eddie tries to hold his gaze, and whatever this weird staring contest is about, Eddie feels like he’s losing, even if Steve’s the first to look away. Because his eyes dart down his body, briefly, but it’s enough for Eddie’s lungs to betray him with a sharp, audible inhale.
A corner of Steve’s lips twitches upwards before he finally answers.
“I mean… Didn’t know that was a payment option.”***
Needing some aid for his insomnia following the Starcourt Mall fire, Steve Harrington pays a visit to the known Hawkins dealer and former schoolmate Eddie Munson. There's a perfectly logical explanation as to why he ends up on his knees trying to get in the guy's pants. What baffles him is getting rejected and asked to leave.
Meanwhile, Eddie's having an existential crisis while trying to be a decent human being.
When Steve shows up on his doorstep again, they have to get through whole layers of misunderstandings about what really happened that night before they can finally have some fun time together.Bookmarked by StrangeMisery
