Summary
There’s nothing more violent than love that endures. That persists despite the wreckage left behind. Jeon Jeongguk knows this better than most. The love he holds for Park Jimin doesn’t vanish when their relationship falls apart. It doesn’t die or fade.
It clings. It poisons. It turns sharp and corrosive.
Jeongguk feels this violence in every breath, as the petals blooming in his lungs remind him of how his self-destructive choices drove Jimin away. And so, in a moment of desperate, unimaginable selfishness, Jeongguk walks into his ex-boyfriend's tattoo shop, dragging the violence of his enduring love with him.

Summary
In New York City, struggling musician Jeon Jungkook works as a bartender at a historic piano bar, trying to save enough money to move himself and his younger sister to Seoul by the end of the year.
Across the city, Park Jimin is chasing a different deadline.
A gifted harpist, Jimin hopes to earn a coveted position with one of the Big Four orchestras in the United States, securing some space between himself and his blood-pack of alpha siblings. Summary
There were stars in his veins.
A faint glow of sunlight pulsed right where skin rose to cradle the network of webbing that wrapped around the Ophelian King's bare forearms. His wrists were locked in opaque, crystal cuffs to keep his arm span wide and taut.
Somehow—though Jimin had no recollection of how or when—the notebook he had brought to document the coronation ceremony was no longer in his hands but resting on his seat. He was on his feet, brows furrowed, fingers twitching at his side, utterly transfixed at the sight of Jeon Jungkook kneeling on the center dais like a god of broken constellations.
Jungkook wasn’t a comfort to him. He was barely a friend. But how long did it take a shooting star to become a comet? Everyone was watching the alien king’s coronation with such awe, but all Jimin saw was a man burning in pain, shouldering the burden of an entire solar system that had lost its sun, with him alone willing to save it.
Or
Park Jimin goes to a new planet as an intergalactic translator, only to spend much more time with an alien king than professionally appropriate.

Summary
The storm finally stopped.
But the silence that followed felt hollow.
Jeongguk stumbled toward the water, turning his back on Poseidon to look into the reflective surface.
The water was a fractured mirror. Red irises glowed back at him, a crimson eclipse of war and death surrounded black pupils. His once human teeth now bared a predator’s snarl, the canines drawing blood from his gums. His teeth had become a weapon capable of tearing flesh. Jeongguk flexed his fingers, and his nails curved like claws.
There was an unbalanced strength that had expanded his frame, his shadow taller in the water, his shoulders wider, his body as unnerving and unnatural as it was imposing.
The man who had initially left Ithaca would not be the one who returned to his husband. That kind and gentle mortal was gone, and a beast now stood in his place.
Or
A kookmin reimagining of the Ithaca Saga from Epic The Musical and a love story made up of music, sex, and murder.
