Summary
The year was 1347, a young man had grown up in a small English village. He was the black sheep of this village, a loner of sorts. Nobody really knew why he holed himself in his late parent’s home, people rarely saw him. He went through the motions with a far off look; tending to the farm, stopping at the market, and not saying a word. The man knew the rumors that spread through the town. Rumors that he had died alongside his parents and haunted the town with his ghostly presence, rumors that he murdered his parents and wrestled with the guilt, rumors that he had gone mental and had to hide his symptoms lest he be exposed. But, he paid no mind to the senseless words. He was not content in this life, but he was not able to change it, either.
