Hawks is having a hard time after a particularly difficult shift. Dabi breaks into his apartment to help, hopefully.
A flash of pain yanks Hawks out of a dreamless sleep and he jerks awake, the pain exploding immediately and spreading over his back, burning. Hawks gasps and falls back onto the mattress, holding his breath until the pain recedes. It doesn't.
