An unsettling crackling fills her ears and a sharp electric feeling buzzes through her veins. Her stomach flips, and the feeling of falling overtakes her senses. A wave of darkness fades in and out of her vision. She gasps desperately as her senses come back. Forehead on the ground she takes in the feeling of crusted old carpet fibers under her skin. Her eyes flutter open to an old office room, papers scattered about. She slowly brings her calloused fingertips to her face, holding it tightly. “What the fuck?” She whispers, glancing around. She’s met with an old computer with an absurdly colorful screen.

It's bad enough being stuck in the circus for who knows how long, but when you're running on empty it gets downright unbearable. So when he happens to finally nod off on an adventure, he should have been ecstatic!
Unfortunately, he was only able to sleep while laying on Gangle.
To make matters worse, now that he's alone in his room again, he's wide awake.

Jax thinks that's a sign, in a weird way, that perhaps all of this isn't as worthy as it seems. That he's not as worthy. Not that it matters.
And so, on one random Sunday night, Jax decides he's going to take his own life.

After they kill Caine, with no idea of what this could possibly mean for them, Zooble decides the best next step is to make a bar with their newly discovered "imagination" powers. Everyone just goes along with it because no one has any better ideas. And honestly? Yeah, a drink wouldn't hurt.
But things end up getting threateningly personal. With foggy brains and the possibilities of what "No Caine" could mean, there's a little too much liquor consumed. Gangle spirals. Pomni makes Jax spiral. And by spiral, I mean feel seen through all of his bullshit for the first time in a long time.
