Summary
Where does one go when they've lost all hope? When all sense of their life's direction and trajectory has decided to leave them? The answer usually varies from person to person. Some remain adrift, either until the great flow leads them to where they may be meant to be, or until they're ultimately swept away. There are those who grasp fervidly at any possibilities still allowed to them in a burning refusal to give in, and those that simply surrender to the fate they deem inevitable.
Emyakeu was bereft of everything that they ever cherished and held dear, and however much they reach for any such possibilities, no matter how unrealistic, none take their hand except for one. The hand of the new L Corp. reaches for theirs, and with a solemn, expectant mind, they embark on the only path that remains open to them.
