Summary
Danny has recently been crowned King of the Infinite Realms. He had a whole coronation ceremony and everything. Except now, he’s dealing with a major power upgrade, and is taking some time to himself in his castle to adjust to his new power and ghostly instincts. It would be a lot easier to do so, however, if he wasn’t getting summoned every five minutes.
Tim was not on board with the whole “summon the new king of the afterlife” plan, particularly the part where they bothered a guy who could destroy them all with a sneeze. But when the plan goes wrong, Tim’s too focused on trying to get back what was lost to gloat.
Jason has no idea what’s going on, and would really like it if his body would stop betraying him, thanks. And if this creepy yet cuddly cosmic entity would let him go, that would be just swell.
Jason is confused. Tim is determined. And Danny is signing adoption papers.

'Do you not like it?' the Zone weeps.
"I love it too much," Phantom whimpers, unable to look away from familiar, blue eyes. "My starling cannot stay here with us. He's too human."

"I have a choice for you, Starlight," they cooed, pulling their other half into their side. "You can rest, find peace, be loved... or-" they pause here, sighing with the knowledge of his king's choice- "you can fight for them again." Danny looks up at Clockwork and rolls his eyes, tired and worn.
"I cannot rest."

Nightwing, wrapped in Kevlar, smiles at the barrel of the gun pointed at him. He's more nervous about the red button under the scientist's hands. His instincts aren't wrong, they rarely are, and he finds himself rather attached to the personification of the echo in a cave, the steps between his bowl of cereal and the fridge where the milk sits on the bottom rack. Unfortunately, the entity getting attached to him is... painful.
And slightly unconsensual.
