Summary
It was a mutual decision. It was for the best that Vincent left Valentino’s collection because he wanted to be someone's special doll. Perhaps that was a rather romantic notion to have as he searched the crowd of a BDSM meet up. Maybe there was no room for sappiness when stress weighed on his shoulders and he just wanted to float in mindlessness. Maybe the spark of hope he felt when laying eyes of a familiar face was just misplaced nostalgia.
Alastor hadn’t been to a play party in a very, very long time. The scene had changed and it wasn’t to his taste. Sex had become the center of many play sessions and Alastor just wanted to play rather than fuck. The brunet blamed television and movies for their watered down portals of BDSM. So when he sees an old friend in the crowd he assumes Vincent is there for “research”.
Familiarity and past regrets collide as two old friends learn they might just be a perfect fit.

Summary
"Vincent, can you show me your face?" He remains as gentle as he can be.
Vincent fully comes out, his body sagging as if the action took everything out of him. Alastor feels his face growing pale, a feeling of dread hitting him hard and fast like a bullet. Now that Vincent is fully in his view, he sees how much worse the damage to his body is. His poor eye is completely swollen over, hues of sickening yellow, purple, and blue morph around the area in a terrible bruise. There's crusted up blood all around his eye too, the man must have punched him hard enough to rupture something. His lip has a smaller gash in it, not nearly as severe but still undeniably painful from the looks of it. Alastor wants to punch himself square in the face. Vincent had been up here alone for over an hour, completely injured and scared out of his mind, and Alastor let it happen. His shame courses inside of him like the waves of a river.
"Oh, you poor thing..."
________Vincent gets cocky and messes up his and Alastor's kill. He's left with a black eye and a furious radio host shouting at him. AKA Vincent agere hurt/comfort.
