With enough practice, even Bennett had learned how to properly fry an egg. About 90% of the time.
Razor, meanwhile, understood how to set up a campfire, butcher an animal, and cook slabs of meat thoroughly enough to not get sick. He thought it was a hassle, but the annoyance of cooking was still better than becoming a detriment to his Lupical after falling ill – which still happened occasionally. When he was feeling particularly impatient.
Neither seemed to know what a vegetable was, but both had asked to be taught, which was why Lisa had decided to begin their culinary lessons with those.

Of course, Amber already knew better than to laugh. She wouldn't laugh at anyone for being true to their feelings – least of all Eula, who endured so much difficulty to express them to begin with.
“Promise?” Eula asked, so Amber promised again, saying the words outright. With that out of the way, some of Eula's usual strength and poise returned to her voice, “I read about this in a book once.”
Amber received no time, not even a second or a fraction of one, to ponder that statement before Eula leaned in. She wriggled an arm beneath Amber's bottom shoulder in the same motion, as both a cushion and a means to prop themselves up.
The kiss was insistent, but not hard.

Someoka could only helplessly wonder how he got in this situation as he grumbled, “I'm not that sick.” Because, the last he'd checked, the younger Fubuki brother pretty much hated him.
This was evidenced by Atsuya's constant accusations of Someoka trying to steal his spot on the team, purposely encouraging Nae to pester him (Nae needed no encouragement – she was more than willing enough to follow Atsuya around on her own), and even, on one bizarre occasion, a claim that Someoka was trying to sabotage his playstyle by buying him the wrong granola bar.
“Your face is red, your movements are sluggish, you sniffled really loudly a minute ago, and you didn't have an appetite at lunch,” Atsuya prattled without pause. “Look, don't get the wrong idea. It's not like I'm concerned about you, but it would be bad for the rest of the team if you got everyone else sick.”
