“There is a way of course.” The shaman said, eyeing Harry’s face as if it had personally offended her. “I hear that the young master has been taken in by Tsai taitai. I am sorry that you are unable to have your own.”
She stood up and walked over, gripping her brown leather purse. She had a dark, almost offended look on her face. Many years ago it had been this shaman who had told her that she was never to bear children. She did not blame the woman, but it was a sensitive topic either way.
“You will know that this boy is precious to me. Tell me, in plain words. What plagues him?”
“Why, his mother of course! She has tricked fate! She trades her own life for his, but the intention was never to kill her. The boy will never escape danger for the gods already know they have been tricked. This is why he has suffered all these years, and why he will continue to live miserable and paranoid for as long as this debt is not paid.”
In which Harry, abandoned at six after throwing a fit at Heathrow Airport, happens to encounter a nice looking wizard who happens to take an interest in adopting a nice heir for his otherwise childless family. Cue hijinks.

Hey all, this fic is NOT abandoned! I've been very sick for months now with Long Covid. Feeling better finally and have been working on my fic nonstop. I've decided I won't post more until I've written to the end of this "book", aka starting at Hogwarts (Only a couple left to do). Then I will release weekly. Also re-editing (no beta, so it needs it ngl) to match my latest writing, update dates reflect the new, improved chapters. Rescued from near death by a stranger with a resemblance to his dead mum, Harry ends up spending the year before Hogwarts on a weird and life-changing adventure. When he returns in the Autumn, he's different from when he left, assertive, brave, kind and sneaky in a way that almost defies the Hogwarts houses. Now, understanding the full truth of his magical heritage, he must navigate the coming years while struggling to get his wild magic under control. Oh, and the small matter of getting rid of Voldy too.
