Summary

Summary
Percy, for his part, straightens out his jacket and spins on his heel into the alleyway. It's an alleyway, alright. Probably somebody has died here at some point. Percy steps deep into a puddle of what's hopefully water but more likely piss, soaking up into the ankles of his pants. He hisses out a sigh. "Jesus fuck shit—"
"You're going to get mugged," a voice above him says. Deep, toneless, with a faint filtered buzzing behind it. Percy cranes his head up to look towards the sound.
It's Red Hood. Of fucking course it is. The helmet glints in the dark, two white slits shining down at Percy as he leans the whole of his not-inconsiderable bulk on the landing of a fire escape two stories above.
Percy swallows, throat suddenly dry, and says, "I'm not having a conversation with you when you're up there."
"Oh, is that what we're doing?" Red Hood says, tilting his head Percy's way. "Having a conversation?"

Summary
"You know," Percy says. Jason is too well-trained to startle when she turns, but Percy has this nasty habit of sneaking up into her blind spots; emotional and otherwise. She's leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, which incidentally does some really fantastic things for the muscles in her shoulders. "If you wanted, I could, um. Lend a hand."
Jason blinks. Percy scratches at her nose, eyes skittering away and then back to Jason. There's a distinct flush of crimson around her cheekbones, but she doesn't backtrack or elaborate.
"You…could?" Jason repeats, stupidly.
Percy shrugs. "I have some training in stabbing people with needles and whatnot," she says. "Could give you the VIP experience."
"Gee," Jason says dryly. "I feel so honored."
"You should be," Percy says. "I don't offer this to just anyone, you know."
She says it lightly, but she holds Jason's gaze all the while. Jason could tell her to go back to bitching at her stupid med drama, that Jason's done this dozens of times by now but, of course, she doesn't. Percy is extraordinarily difficult to say no to.

Percy offers to help Jason with her e-shots. You know, like gal pals do.
Things escalate.

"Fuck off," Jason says automatically. He digs a knuckle into his forehead, Percy watching all the while. "Listen. All I'm trying to say is if something's—if I fucked up, you have to tell me what to do—"
"Okay," Percy says easily. "Get on your knees."
Jason blinks and he's staring down at the ground. His kneecaps ache in a way that promises future bruises, because he hadn't been thinking about anything beyond the firmness in Percy's voice, how perfectly actionable the command itself was. Percy said Get on your knees and Jason's first and last thought had been to fucking drop. He has to crane his head up to look at Percy now, who's looking down at him with his head tilted to one side and lips tilted up with it, crooked canine sitting sweetly in his mouth.
"That was good," Percy says.
"Uh-huh," Jason says vaguely, and then, "You son of a bitch."

Sometimes, Jason likes being told what to do. Luckily, Percy likes telling him.
