“Quiet day,” Rocker muses, his voice nearly carried away by the soft breeze. His gaze is fixed somewhere on the horizon, distant enough that Luca feels he can get away with looking.
It’s not often he can talk his friend into an early morning like this, rarer so before a shift, and he soaks up the company greedily, eyes roaming over the miles of skin bared to the sun. It’s been long enough since he spent any real time in the water that Rocker is still pale, pale enough that there’s a hint of redness to his shoulders and the back of his neck, despite the early hour. He’d forgone a wetsuit and promptly bitched for the first half an hour about the chill in the water until he’d finally adjusted to it.- Language:
