Summary

Dipper has freshly finished his Masters and is about to start at a new prestigious school in pursuit of a PhD, Mabel is on her way to an apprenticeship in LA; but before parting ways, the pair make a trip back to the Falls for another big birthday bash at the Shack. Summary
Everyone in Gravity Falls knew to stay away from the forest. People who went in there never come out. No one knew what hid in the darkness behind the trees, and most people weren’t willing to risk being stuck in there forever to find out. Children knew to avoid it on their way home from school, hunters knew if they wanted to go hunting, they would have to make the trip to a neighboring town’s forest, high schoolers knew not to plan parties or bonfires there. There were theories that witches lived there and stole people away for spells, or that there was a monster that ate anyone who entered, or even just a run of the mill serial killer who trapped and killed lost people. Whatever the truth was, it was understood throughout the entire town that the forest was not to be entered.
When Dipper Pines ignores all this and goes into the forest, he meets Bill Cipher, and they try to get out of the forest that no one has got out of together.

A creepy story about a demon haunting a forest notorious for missing persons. Like, everyone who went in never went out. Turns out, they all got turned into trees. There must be thousands of trees there.
Dipper is its latest addition. Bill acts like another potential victim when in truth, he has been watching him for six years and has lured him in with a yellow butterfly.
The best thing about this fic is that it brings out the creepiness of the forest. Reminds me of OTGW

Gempa stepped forward, unsure, the others—Halilintar, Taufan, Blaze, Ice, Thorn, and Solar—watching behind him with quiet hope. He glanced at BoBoiBoy, worry tightening his expression, then offered a small, gentle smile.
“Um… why don’t you want to hang out with us?” he finally asked.
BoBoiBoy blinked at them, expression unreadable. “I’ve never really been wanted before,” he said flatly. “So I didn’t think that suddenly changed.”
BoBoiBoy never imagined he’d end up inside the very book his friends had given him. Even if he still couldn’t believe it was real, he was determined to make the most of this new life—and maybe even give his favorite character the happiness he deserved. If only the others would stop hovering around him and trying so hard to get to know him.

Summary
Dipper and Mabel Pines get stranded in a creepy, hick, Oregon town when they get in a car crash and their parents are hospitalized. They're hoping that maybe some of their vacation can be salvaged, but the more time they spend around these people, the creepier they get! For example, why did the red-headed teenager start berating them in the middle of the hospital for not contacting her for two years? Why are they being stopped in the grocery store by people they've never met? Why is everyone strangely nice to them?
Maybe they can just ignore it. At least, Dipper thought so until he started delving deeper into what this town really is, and a series of puzzling mystery after mystery begins unraveling before his eyes! Will the twins ever discover the secrets that lie buried in the strange town of Gravity Falls?
